"The One Act Farce had them rolling in the aisles!"
With a slot in the KLT calendar going spare Tim Waddell rallied the troops and threw together two one act plays for an evening of contrasts.
Dead Ringer almost worked out (!) but the highlight of the evening was certainly Paul Mayhew Archer's fabulous one act farce "May The Farce Be With You". Penny Nash made her stage debut and stole the show in a performance that truly had them rolling in the aisles.

Who Wants To Be A Fillionaire
Directed by Tim Waddell |
January 20th 2004
|
|
"Still no-one wins the Fillion!!"
The Fillionaire team rolled out the lights and sound for a fourth time and, playing to a packed house, offered another million fils to the first person who could climb the FIllioanire ladder of 15 general knowledge questions.
Once again the pressure proved too much for all contestants and the only winners were the audience who took the profit of the show home in the end of evening Money Give-Away. Another great night out at KLT!

Play It Again Sam
Directed by Linn Conway |
November 9th to 11th 2003

"Woody Allen is big hit at KLT"
Robert Edgar once again donned the nerdy glasses as Alan Felix, Woody Allen's hapless hero obsessed with Bogart movies.
With Linn Conway at the helm in her KLT directorial debut this was a real crowd pleaser. A slice of typical Woody Allen genius wonderfully performed by a cast that included Josef Stagg, Alisha Brahim, Alison Braines and Deb Joy.

Mad Musicals 3
Directed by Tim Waddell |
October 9th to 11th 2003
|
|
"Third time lucky - the best Mad Musicals yet!"
In just 5 rehearsals, starting September 19th, the cast put together a 2 hour program of over 30 numbers from 20 different shows enthralling audiences with high kicking dance routines, jazzy solos and comical group numbers which included the all-singing, all-dancing sisterhood from Nunsense ably led by Mother Superior, Kristian Zgorzelski.
Mad Musicals 3 was a fun filled evening out. Great classics such as "All That Jazz" from Chicago were played well against more contemporary songs from shows like The Full Monty ("Big Ass Rock"), and Steel Pier ("Everybody's Girl") Classics from a yesteryear such as "Bosom Buddies" from "Mame received a welcome return alongside the favourites of 'Les Miserables', 'Annie' and 'The Sound of Music.'
