Darling I'm Home - "A Winner!"

Josef Stagg and Robert Edgar's production of Darling I'm Home was enthusiastically received by those who attended last week. Though not a physical farce in the truest sense the fine comedy script by Jack Popplewell raised some real belly laughs as it told the tale of the rise of Career Women and the er... fall of the Domaestic House Husband!

The End Of An Era?

The Ahmadi rebuild is about to reach Kuwait Little Theatre and we are busy talking with architects and designers who plan to demolish our old 1950's home and rebuild a safer (no more asbestos roof!) more comfortable (air conditioning!) and more practical (a higher stage area) venue over the coming months. Retaining the charm of the building that has been the KLT for almost 60 years is certainly part of the plan but we are preparing to say goodbye to the 'oldest building in Ahmadi' and take our shows on the road for a while!

Darling I'm Home may be the last 'performance' at the theatre as plans for our end of season musical are stalling as we try to find carpenters capable of building a large rotating set. Therefore make sure you don't miss this - possibly your last chance to enjoy a show in the original KLT auditorium.

Plan A KLT Social

The KLT is looking for volunteers to run social events at the theatre for the 2006 - 2007 season. Social events can be anything from quiz nights, car rallies, garden fetes, cinema nights - whatever you can think of - we have a great LITTLE venue and a lot of people willing to participate.

We just need some event organizers!
